Who we are

Harrison’s Handyworks Ltd is a UK limited company providing handyman and property maintenance services in Liverpool and nearby areas. We are a mobile, service based business and carry out work at our customers’ properties.

Company registration with Companies House is being completed. Our company number and registered office address will be added to this page once they are confirmed.

What you can send us

The only way this website collects personal information is the enquiry form. When you fill it in, you can provide:

• Your name
• The postcode where the job is
• Optional address details (address line 1 and address line 2)
• A description of the work you need
• The service you selected, if you chose one
• Your preferred contact method (phone or email)
• Your phone number or email address
• Optional photographs of the job

What we use it for

We use the details you send to deal with your enquiry and the work you are asking about. That means we may use them to:

• Respond to your enquiry
• Understand the work you are asking about
• Prepare or discuss a quotation
• Arrange work where it is subsequently agreed
• Communicate with you about that enquiry or job
• Keep the necessary business records where you become a customer

How your enquiry is sent

When you press Send enquiry, the details you entered are sent to our own website server, which passes them to us as a single email containing your form fields and any photographs you attached. Photographs are only ever sent as part of your enquiry; they are not used for anything else without you being told.

Delivery of that email is handled by our email service provider, Resend. Until the provider connection is switched on, the form cannot send anything: what you type stays in your browser and is not sent or stored by the website.

Nothing is sent before you press Send enquiry. We do not keep drafts of part completed forms, and we do not store what you enter in cookies or your browser’s storage.

Technical information

Like most websites, the infrastructure that hosts this site may process basic technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, the page asked for, and the date and time, in standard server logs. This comes from the hosting platform rather than anything the website itself collects.

This website does not set cookies or use analytics or advertising tracking. Our Cookie Policy explains this in more detail.

How long we keep information

Enquiry details are kept only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Where you become a customer, we keep the records needed for our accounts and legal obligations.

We will update this section with more specific details once the enquiry delivery service is in place, since how long copies are held depends partly on that service.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information. In plain English, you can:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
• Ask us to delete your information where we have no good reason to keep it
