Terms & Conditions
The terms that enquiries, quotations and work from Harrison’s Handyworks are provided under. They are written to reflect how the business actually works.
Who we are
Harrison’s Handyworks Ltd is a UK limited company providing handyman and property maintenance services in Liverpool and nearby areas. We are a mobile, service based business and carry out work at our customers’ properties.
Company registration with Companies House is being completed. Our company number and registered office address will be added to this page once they are confirmed.

Enquiries through this website
This website is an enquiry website. It lets you tell us about work you need and ask for a quote. Submitting an enquiry:
- Is not a booking
- Does not guarantee availability
- Does not create a contract
- Does not mean the work has been accepted
Quotations
Every job is quoted individually. We discuss what is needed and agree the scope of the work and the price with you before work begins.
A quoted price can change if things change after the quote. For example where:
- You change the scope of the work
- Previously hidden or unforeseen work becomes apparent once we start
- You request additional materials or additional work
- Information originally provided about the job was materially incomplete
Any change of this kind will be discussed with you before it affects the price. We will not carry out additional chargeable work without talking to you about it first.
Materials
Materials are arranged job by job rather than under one fixed rule. Depending on what is agreed for your work, they may be:
- Included within the agreed quotation
- Supplied by you, where we agree that is appropriate
- Charged separately, where agreed
Payment
Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash, as agreed for each job.
We do not apply a universal deposit requirement. For some larger domestic or commercial work, a deposit, staged payments or another payment arrangement may be agreed before work starts. Where that applies, it will be discussed and agreed with you for that particular job.
Your responsibilities
To help the work go well, we ask that you:
- Give us accurate information about the job
- Provide reasonable access to the work area
- Tell us about any known hazards or relevant property issues
- Make sure you have the authority to instruct the work, for example as the property owner or with the owner’s permission
Our responsibilities
We will carry out agreed work with reasonable care and skill, keep you informed about the work and the price, and leave the work area tidy.
Nothing in these terms removes your statutory consumer rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
